“Giant Jenga is an excellent party game,” says Gordon Buchanan, founder of the national lawn game rental company Triangular lawn games. “We see Giant Jenga entertaining everyone in any setting, be it a formal wedding or a relaxed festival. From kids to adults, for whatever reason, this is one of those games that just always works.” Buchanan says simplicity is key. “It’s a simple concept: just pull out the blocks one at a time, trying not to knock them over.”

5. Bucket Ball

Bucketball is an amazing game that combines the throwing skills of cornhole with the concentration and aim of basketball. Balls are thrown into buckets of different sizes, which are set up at different distances. Each bucket has a point value and players try to get the highest score through successful throws. Bucketball is easy to set up and can be played in teams or individually.

Boccia is a classic Italian game popular with people of all ages. It is played by throwing balls to get as close as possible to a smaller target ball, the pallino. The game requires precision and strategy as players try to knock away their opponent’s balls or position their own closer to the pallino. Bocce ball can be played on any lawn or even sandy beaches, making its versatility even more appealing.

7. Tug of War

Tug of War is a timeless and exciting game that tests the strength and teamwork of the participants. Two teams pull opposite ends of a rope with the goal of pulling the opposing team over to their side. Tug of war is a great way to build camaraderie and encourage friendly competition, making it a fantastic addition to any outdoor event.

8. Putter Ball

For those who love to play golf or mini-golf, putterball is a must-try lawn game. It combines golfing skills with a dash of beer pong, with players taking turns tossing golf balls onto a large putting green with cups.
